Yael is who is an Australian living in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael received her NIDA diploma. Yael's early career has allowed her to work with Australia's top storytellers. Yael has had a long and successful career working in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's move to New York City began when her show was critically-acclaimed by the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael created The Cannery with her co-founders. From the Bushwick, Brooklyn studio, The Cannery encourages creativity, creative writing and innovative projects, and supports the formation of new writers.
